- what you did, and what happened instead of what you expected,
- the version of Duetbook (at the bottom of Settings) and of iOS,
- the book’s language and the language you translate into.
Common questions
No transcript appears
Open the transcript in the player and choose the book’s language. The first time, iOS downloads the speech model for that language, so it needs an internet connection. If Duetbook says speech recognition isn’t available for the language, download Whisper in Settings › Downloads.
Getting Pro back on a new iPhone
Go to Settings › Duetbook Pro and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. Pro is also shared with your family through Family Sharing.
Where are my books?
With iCloud, in Files › iCloud Drive › Duetbook; Settings › Manage Your Files shows which ones are downloaded on this iPhone. Without iCloud, they stay on this iPhone.
Adding a book with copy protection
Books with DRM can’t be added. Duetbook plays MP3, M4A, M4B and other DRM-free files, podcasts, and EPUB and PDF books it reads aloud.
